OLEENU Shield Mechanical Pencils

The OLEENU series was released five years ago. It is mechanical pencil technology that protects the lead from the shock of falling or pressure of the writing, with further improvement on lead resistance. This new design improves lead resistance by approximately 1.5 times more compared to its predecessor, which on the overall is about 15 times stronger than a standard mechanical pencil from our company. 

OLEENU Sharp had been released as a first attempt in improving current lead resistant mechanical pencils in the market. It gained good reputation especially among students. A stress free not easily breakable lead holding mechanical pencil, allowing for long hours of non-interrupted flow of thought makes this series a favorite. After five years of market research, we made further improvements to the existing design then. In addition to the OLEENU mechanism, a dual structure pen tip cover called OLEENU Shield was successfully incorporated, protecting the lead from exterior shock. The two walls work as a single shield strengthening the lead resistance structure. This new structure offers an improvement on the bending strength of lead thus improving stability while writing without having to exert much pressure. There is a visible 20% size reduction in terms of the mechanical pencil body as compared to the previous model, making it an easy fit for most pen cases. Providing stability and minimal stress while writing, at the same time suppressing breakage of lead, OLEENU Shield is the cutting-edge mechanical pencil. 

How It Works

• The lead is held by two separate parts, the tip and the part that pushes the lead out. Four new parts are added filling the gap between the two parts, thus holding the lead at a 360-degree angle. This structure makes the lead resistant to shocks - OLEENU Guard mechanism.
• The spring inside protects lead from breaking when you write with strong pressure - Safety Slide mechanism.
• When the lead is being used while writing, pushing the tip of the pencil on paper triggers the guide pipe to move down and push out lead by 1mm - Point Push function.
• A guide pipe at the tip protects lead when it is not in use - Pipe Slide mechanism.
• It is designed to minimize lead wastage.
• OLEENU Shield allows you to use lead up to the last 1mm, while general mechanical pencils (in comparison to our existing products) allow up to 12.9mm.
• Wastage is reduced by 11.9mm. When the next lead is filled. - Zero Shin mechanism.
• The dual structure pen tip cover improves lead protection and shock absorption. - OLEENU Shield mechanism.
